Afl Private Ltd. (Logistics Division)

Down in Baroda, specifically near Jambubet and Nagarkhana, you will find our logistics division. We are situated on Kharivav Road, which is usually a hive of activity. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we manage the movement of cargo. It gets pretty dusty with all the traffic passing by, but we are used to it by now. We spend our mornings checking schedules and our afternoons dealing with whatever problems popped up during the day. Logistics is mostly about solving little puzzles, like how to fit a specific load into a specific timeframe. Sometimes things go smoothly, and sometimes they don't, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We have a small crew here in Baroda who knows the local routes well. It helps to have people who understand the shortcuts and the bottlenecks around the city. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just focus on the task at hand. The phones ring pretty much non-stop from the time we open until we lock up for the evening. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear us arguing about truck routes or laughing over a quick lunch together at the back table. It is a bit hectic, but we like the pace. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There are no corporate speeches here in this office.
