Act Fibre Glass Ltd

Act Fibre Glass Ltd is tucked away in Namisara, Kalyani Nagar, specifically at Block No 327. It’s a place where things are actually made, so it’s not exactly quiet or clean. There’s usually the smell of resin in the air and the sound of tools being used on the shop floor. We spend most of our time out back working with the materials rather than sitting in the front office. The space is filled with molds and sheets of fiberglass waiting to be cut or shaped into whatever is on the order list that week. It gets pretty warm in the afternoon, so we keep the big doors open to let the breeze through. We’ve got a small crew, and everyone knows what they’re supposed to be doing without needing a lot of talk. Sometimes we get visitors looking for specific parts, and we have to dig through the inventory to find what they need. The floors always have a bit of dust on them no matter how much we sweep. It’s an honest sort of workplace where you leave with dirty hands at the end of the shift. Kalyani Nagar is a nice enough area, but our block is strictly for getting the work done. We don’t have much in the way of comforts, just a water cooler and a couple of old chairs in the corner for lunch breaks. We mostly just keep our heads down and get on with the fabrication.
