Aakar Architect

Our office is over at Karelibaug, specifically at O 6. Aakar Architect is a small place where we spend our days. It’s not very big, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. There are three desks and a lot of shelves filled with old binders. Karelibaug is a good area, and we’ve been here long enough to feel like part of the neighborhood. We spend most of our time on site visits or sitting here working on CAD software. The walls are a bit bare because we never got around to hanging many pictures. Usually, the drawings we are working on are taped to the boards anyway. We don't have a formal dress code here. If it’s hot, we wear light shirts. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes we forget to eat lunch until it's nearly evening. That’s just how it goes when you’re busy with a design. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. People know us as the architects from O 6. We do our drawings, check the measurements, and move on to the next task. The front door sticks a little when it rains, so you have to give it a good push to get inside. We’ve meant to fix that for a year now. It’s just a normal office doing normal work. We enjoy the process of seeing a sketch become something real. That's really all there is to our daily routine.
