9 Blues Studio

9 Blues Studio is located right across from the Gatewadi Masjid. We are in the Pani Ni Bhit area of Mandvi. It’s a very specific part of the town with a whole lot of local character. The studio itself is just a place where we get our creative work done every day. Being opposite the masjid means we hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which gives the whole place a very calm and timed feeling. Mandvi is an older area, so the streets are narrow and the buildings are all built very close together. We chose this spot because it just felt right for the kind of work we do here at 9 Blues Studio. It’s not a corporate office at all, if you were wondering. It’s more of a workshop where things are constantly being made and moved around. The walls have some marks on them and the furniture we use is a bit mismatched, but it’s a comfortable place for us to work. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by to see us, you’ll probably find one of us with our sleeves rolled up, busy with some project or another. We really like the local vibe of Pani Ni Bhit. It’s honest and very straightforward. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy front. We just focus on our studio work and try to be good neighbors to everyone around the masjid. It’s a quiet life.
