Malabar Granites

We are Malabar Granites, located out in Payyoli Post within the Vadakara Tal of Kozhikode district. Our yard is where we spend most of our time, surrounded by piles of granite. It’s a rural enough area that things stay relatively quiet compared to the city, but we still get plenty of trucks coming through for pickups and deliveries. We’ve been operating here for years. The guys working here are mostly from the local villages nearby. We handle the raw slabs, cutting them down when someone needs a specific size for their project. Granite is tough stuff to work with, and the machines are loud, so it’s not exactly a peaceful office job. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just open up the gate in the morning and start working. If someone needs stone, they come find us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit before we can get the saws running again, but that's just how it is in this part of Kozhikode. We've seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our business stays pretty much the same. We focus on the stone and try to get the orders ready on time. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and dusty clothes at the end of the shift. We are just local people providing stone to other local people, keeping it simple and honest as we go about our day.
