We’ve been operating out of here for quite some time. Making wires is one of those things you don't think about until you need them. The area in Uttarpara is quite lively, and there's always something going on out on Netaji Subhash Road. Inside the factory, it's a lot of spooling and checking the gauge of the wire. We have a good group of people here who have been with us for years. Some of them know the machines better than the people who made them. It’s just Shalimar Wires Industries Ltd., nothing more and nothing less. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just make the wire and send it out. The 712 258 pin code is basically our home. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait, but that’s just part of working here in West Bengal. We try to keep things simple.
