This is Sanjeev Chauhan’s place near Anushandhan Colony. Being up here in Uttarkashi means the air is fresh, but the daily work stays the same. We operate as part of the Vedanta Group right from this spot in Joshiyara Sera. It’s a quiet area for the most part. You can see the hills from the door when the clouds clear out. We don't have a big glass building or anything corporate like that. It’s just a regular house where we handle the business. My father, Pyar Sing Chauhan, is well known around this neighborhood. Dealing with everything from this part of Uttarakhand has its own set of challenges, especially when the weather turns and the mountain roads get difficult. But we make it work regardless. Most of the day is spent on the phone or checking through long lists. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy presentations. We just do the tasks that come our way. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or so, and we just take a break then. It has a very local feel. If you’re looking for us, just ask someone near Anushandhan Colony, and they’ll point you the right way. We’ve been here in the 249193 area for a long time now. Working from home feels good. No fancy suits or long meetings that go nowhere happen here. We just keep track of the work for the group and make sure nothing gets missed. It’s straightforward and we prefer it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
