Down in Honnavar, specifically at Bangarmakki in the Hulegar Gersoppa area, you’ll find Sricharana Universal Icon Private Limited. We are located in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, which is a beautiful place to live and work. Our office is at number 115. It’s a bit quieter out here compared to the big cities, but there is still plenty of work to keep us busy. We mostly deal with property and development projects around the local villages. We know the people here and we understand how things work in this part of the country. It’s not about being flashy; it’s about understanding the land and what can be built on it. Sometimes we have to travel quite a bit between different sites because things are spread out. We spend a lot of time talking to local suppliers and making sure we have what we need. The weather can be a real challenge, especially during the heavy rains we get in this region. We just work around it and keep moving. Our office isn't some high-rise building. It’s a practical space where we meet and discuss the progress of our current projects. We are just local folks trying to do a good job with the buildings we put up. It’s steady work and we are happy to be doing it right here in our own backyard.
