Our company, M/S. Ramshree Construction Company Pvt. Ltd., is located in the coastal town of Karwar. If you go behind the Head Post Office, you will find our building. Karwar is a beautiful place in North Canara, and we feel lucky to work here. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, with wooden desks and big cupboards full of old project files. We have been doing construction work in this region for quite a while. The salt air from the sea can be tough on equipment, so we spend a lot of time on maintenance and repairs. We aren't a big, flashy corporation. We are just a group of people who know how to build things that last. Most of our staff grew up right here in Karnataka. When we aren't at the office, we are usually out at a construction site making sure the foundation is poured correctly. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. The pace of life in Karwar is a bit slower, and we try to bring that same steady approach to our work. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just tell people what we can do and then we go out and do it. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we start our days early to beat the heat. It is a simple life and a simple business, and that is how we like it. We just focus on the bricks and mortar.
