Our office is tucked away in Berolli, which is in the Nagre area of Honnavara. It’s part of the Uttarakannada district here in Karnataka. Being a Govt Of Karnataka office in a place like this means things move at a slightly different pace than the big cities. We aren't in a skyscraper; it’s more of a local building that fits right into the scenery of Honnavara. The air is different here, and the surroundings are much greener. Our daily life involves a lot of interaction with local folks who come in from nearby villages. The office itself is pretty basic. We’ve got some old wooden furniture and windows that stay open to let the breeze in. There’s no air conditioning or fancy carpeting. We deal with whatever comes our way, from land records to local permits. It’s a lot of manual work and checking through thick books of notes. Sometimes the rain in this part of Karnataka makes it hard to get around, but we still make sure the doors are open for whoever needs us. We don't have a polished image or a social media page. Most people find us by asking someone on the road or just knowing where the government building is in Berolli. It’s a quiet life, but there is always something to keep us busy. We just do the work that’s expected of us without any extra fuss.
