A B G Crane Service

Running a crane business out of Dandeli keeps us pretty busy most days. We are situated on Yb Road over in the Haliyal area. It’s a lot of manual work and the yard is usually full of heavy equipment, rusted chains, and thick cables. A B G Crane Service is basically just a group of us who know how to handle these machines. We start early when the air is still cool because once the sun gets up, it gets really hot out there in the yard. The cranes need a lot of looking after, so you'll often see someone under a machine with a wrench or a grease gun in their hand. It’s definitely not a clean job. Our clothes usually have oil stains or dirt on them by noon. People from around Haliyal know where to find us if they have a big lifting job. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth is how most people hear about the yard on Yb Road. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the trucks are coming and going all day long. It gets quite loud with the engines running and the metal clanging. We have a small office where we keep the logs and take calls, but most of the time we are outside. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that for visitors. If you come by, you'll just see us working on the rigs or getting ready for the next site visit. It’s just what we know how to do.
