Edin Education Foundation

Our foundation is located in flat O-1503 at Great Value Sharanam. This is a big apartment complex, so we are way up on the fifteenth floor. It’s a bit different from having a shop on the street, but it gives us a quiet place to focus. Edin Education Foundation is basically run from this apartment. We have a couple of desks set up near the window where we can see out over the area while we work. It’s a modern building, which is nice because things generally work well here, though sometimes the lifts take a minute. We don't have a big sign outside or a lobby full of people. Most of our work is done online or through meetings that we schedule. It’s just a few of us here. We keep it very simple. We don't have a corporate mission statement pinned to the wall or anything like that. We just come in, sit down, and get to work on the educational stuff we have planned for the week. Sometimes it’s a bit quiet, but that’s okay. We prefer the calm of being in a residential tower. It’s a practical way to run a small foundation without the high costs of a commercial office space. We spend most of our time on our laptops or talking to partners on the phone. It’s just a regular workspace in a regular apartment block. It works for us and what we need.
