At Adut Om Foundation, we are located on Saitily Road in Muradnagar. Our address is Manu Prakash H. No. 0. It’s a bit of an unusual house number, but that’s just how it is on this road. Muradnagar is a part of Ghaziabad that still feels like a small town in many ways. The 201206 area is full of people who have lived here for generations. Our office is in a residential building, so it feels very much like a home. You can hear the sounds of the street and the neighbors throughout the day. Saitily Road gets its fair share of traffic, especially with tractors and local transport moving through. We have a simple sign outside so people don’t miss us. Inside, it’s mostly just a few rooms filled with desks and cupboards for our files. We don’t have a fancy cooling system, just the usual fans that hum all day. The pace of work here is steady but not frantic. We take our time to talk to whoever comes through the door. It’s a very local way of doing things. Uttar Pradesh can be quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the windows and the desks. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing from this little spot on Saitily Road. It is a practical place to be based.
