Ice & Spice

Our place is located in Kasba village, very close to the BD Office here in Tapan. Since we are near the government office, we get a lot of workers and people finishing their errands who want something cold or a little snack. Tapan is in Dakshin Dinajpur, and it can get quite warm during the summer months, so the shop stays pretty busy then. We called it Ice & Spice because we wanted to offer a bit of variety, though the ice cream is what most people come for. It’s a simple building, nothing fancy to look at from the outside, but we keep it tidy inside. We have been here for a bit now and have gotten to know the police station staff and the office folks quite well. They usually stop by during their lunch breaks or after they finish work for the day. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us doing the best we can with what we have. Sometimes the supply trucks are late because of the roads, but we manage to keep the freezers full. It’s a local business through and through. We don't try to be something we aren't. If you’re passing the BD Office, you’ll see us right there. We just like serving the local community and keeping things honest and simple for everyone who visits.
