Avadh Hospital

We started Avadh Hospital a while ago here in the Narayan Building on Lucknow Road. It’s right across from the KKY Hotel, so most people in Mahasi know where we are. Dealing with health stuff is never easy for families, so we just try to keep things running steady for anyone walking through the door. The building isn't fancy but it serves its purpose. We have different rooms for patients and some basic equipment to handle what comes our way. Mostly, it's about being here when someone feels unwell or gets hurt. Sometimes the road gets busy with traffic coming from the Tahsil, but we've gotten used to the noise over the years. Our staff lives nearby too. We don't have those big city systems where you're just a number on a chart. It’s more about sitting down and listening to what’s wrong. There’s always something to fix, whether it’s a leaky pipe in the hallway or a new schedule for the night shift. We just get on with it. People come in from the surrounding villages quite a bit. It’s a lot of work and some days are longer than others, especially when the waiting area gets full on Monday mornings. We keep the lights on and the doors open. That's really all there is to it. We aren't trying to be anything huge, just a place in the community where you can get some help without too much fuss. We know the neighbors and they know us.
