Superhouse Group (footwear Division)

If you go to B-16 & 17 Site Ii in the Upsidc Industrial Area, you will find our footwear division. We have a fairly large space across those two plots, which is necessary because of all the leather and rubber we have to keep in stock. Making shoes involves a lot of different steps, and every corner of this building is set up for a specific part of that process. It is loud inside, it smells like strong glue and fresh leather, and there is constant movement from one station to the next. We do not bother with decorations or nice furniture. Mostly, the walls just have calendars and safety instructions pinned to them. We spend our time making sure the stitching is straight and the soles are attached so they will not peel off. The people working here at Site II have been in the shoe trade for a long time and they know their business. We are not trying to be a high-end fashion boutique. We make footwear that is meant to be worn every day by regular people. Every morning starts with checking the machines to make sure they are running right before the lines start moving. It is a lot of repetitive work, but you have to stay sharp or mistakes happen. We just want to do a solid job and get our shipments out on time. That is the daily life here at the factory.
