Aci Garments

Aci Garments is located in Akrampur. We are pretty close to the TV Tower, which is the easiest way to explain where we are if someone is looking for us. The area can be a bit dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but it is a good spot for our garment work. Inside, it is full of sewing machines, rolls of fabric, and threads of every color you can imagine. It is usually quite a busy sound with all the machines running at once. We don't have a fancy storefront. It’s more of a workshop where we spend our hours cutting and stitching. There are usually scraps of cloth on the floor by midday, but we sweep up before we leave. Akrampur is a decent place to work from, and being near the TV Tower helps with directions for the delivery drivers. We aren't trying to be some big fashion house. We just make clothes and try to do a good job of it. Some days the power goes out, and we have to wait it out, which is just part of living and working here. We have a few long tables for cutting and a small corner for the finished items. It is a simple setup, run by people who know how to handle a needle and thread. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines humming along. It gets repetitive, but there is a certain rhythm to it that we all like.
