Uma Dye Chem

Our place is located right behind the National Federation building on the Unjha Highway in the Mehsana district. If you're driving that way, it’s not too hard to find us. We deal with dyes and chemicals, which is a pretty messy business if you aren't careful. The yard gets a bit dusty because of the trucks and the highway traffic nearby. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good while, mostly supplying the stuff that textile folks and other industries need for their colors. It's a practical setup, nothing fancy. We spend a lot of time checking drums and making sure the mixtures are right before they go out. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big order comes in from one of the local factories. The crew here is small but they know what they’re doing with the chemicals. We have to be mindful of the storage since the weather here can get quite dry. You won't find any shiny showrooms or big glass windows at Uma Dye Chem. It’s more about the loading docks and the warehouse space. We just try to keep things organized so we don't lose track of the inventory. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet all day. Most of the people around Mehsana know us as the dye folks on the highway. We just show up, do the mixing, load the trucks, and head home after the shift is done.
