Jay Dattatray Trading Co.

Our office and warehouse are at 26/27 in the Krusha Mill Compound. We are very close to the Tirupati Market and right on the Railway Station Road. That means it’s a very loud and busy area. You can hear the trains and the noise from the market all day long. The compound itself is an older place, with some cracked pavement and lots of activity. We do trading, so we are always moving different goods. One day it might be one thing, and the next day it’s something else. We have a couple of units in the compound to store everything. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s just shelves, pallets, and a lot of dust from the road. We spend a lot of time on the phone negotiating or talking to the transporters. Sometimes the trucks can’t get into the compound easily because the station road is so crowded, so we have to go out and help direct them. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes, but it’s just the way it is here. The people working here are used to the heat and the noise. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big website or shiny flyers. We just trade goods and keep our records as best as we can. It keeps us busy from morning until night at Jay Dattatray Trading Co.
