White Lotus Exports Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Dharm Cottage on Pir Nigaha Road. It’s a bit of a different setting than your typical industrial area. Working from a cottage means things feel a little more grounded. We don't have those massive glass windows or a lobby with a fountain. It’s just Dharm Cottage. On Pir Nigaha Road, things move at their own pace. We spend our hours tracking orders and making sure everything is moving where it needs to go. There’s usually a stack of documents on the main table and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It gets a bit chilly in the mornings, so we usually start the day with something hot to drink before the first truck arrives. We’ve been at this for a bit now, and while the Pvt. Ltd. part of the name sounds official, we’re really just a small group of people keeping things running. The walls are thick, which is nice when it gets loud outside. We don’t really do marketing or anything like that; people usually find us because they need something shipped and they know where Dharm Cottage is. It’s a practical way to work. We like the neighborhood and the people who walk by every day. It’s just a normal workplace for us, nothing more and nothing less. We just focus on the boxes and the manifests until the day is done.
