Vicky General Store

Vicky General Store is located in Ward Number 7 of Ghumarwin. We are pretty close to the Maruti Agency, which makes it easy for people to find us. I’m Vicky, and I run the shop mostly by myself, though sometimes family members step in to help. It’s a basic general store where we keep things like soaps, snacks, milk, and other daily essentials. Living in Bilaspur district is nice, and this neighborhood is usually quite friendly. The traffic from the car agency nearby brings in a lot of strangers, but we also have our regular customers who come in every single morning. The shop is a bit small and sometimes the boxes are stacked high, making it hard to see everything at once. I try to keep it organized, but when new supplies come in, it gets a little messy for a day or two. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy signs. It's just a neighborhood shop for neighborhood people. Most of the day is spent chatting with customers while they pick out what they need. It’s a slow pace of life here in Ghumarwin. We open up early and stay till the sun goes down. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s how we make a living. We appreciate the people who stop by instead of going to the bigger supermarkets. It keeps the community spirit alive in our little corner of Ward 7.
