Sr Engineer

This place is run by Harvinder, who is the son of Sh Hem Raj, and we’re located in Vop Paisa within the Dehra Gopipur Tehsil in Kangra district. It’s a different kind of pace up here compared to the big cities. We work out of a modest space that fits right into the local surroundings. Being in Kangra, we see the hills every day when we step outside. The business, Sr Engineer, is basically just us handling technical needs for people in the area. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where to find us. The office is straightforward with just the essentials. We don't have air conditioning because the weather is usually fair, though it gets quite chilly in the winter months. We spend a lot of time traveling to different sites around the tehsil, so sometimes the office is empty for a few hours. We leave a note on the door if we’re out. It’s a small community, so everyone knows everyone else anyway. We handle the engineering work with whatever tools we have on hand. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't need a lot of space or fancy furniture to get the job done. Just a solid table and some peace and quiet to think. That’s how we’ve always done things here in Paisa. We take things as they come and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by the office. It’s a simple way of living and working.
