Scratchnest Private Limited

Scratchnest Private Limited is located in Una, specifically at Shivalic A 2412. This is the home of Ram Pal, the son of Gopi Ram. It is a residential area, so it’s a very different vibe than being in a commercial district. We work on various tech and design projects right from this house. Una is quite different from the hilly parts of Himachal because it can get really hot and flat. We have a simple setup with our workstations and a few shelves for our things. The name Scratchnest came about because we like the idea of starting things from scratch, but we aren't trying to be too clever about it. We are just a group of people who enjoy working on projects together in a comfortable, home-like environment. There are no cubicles here, and no one has to wear a tie. We just wake up, have breakfast, and start working. Sometimes we get distracted by the daily life of the neighborhood, but it’s nice to feel like we are part of a community rather than just being in an anonymous office park. We have been here for a while and we don't have any plans to move. It’s a practical place to be, and it keeps our costs low so we can just focus on the work itself. It is a very straightforward way to run a company. We like the independence of working from a real home.
