Pinka General Store

Out here in Village-Bhanjal, life moves a bit slower than the city. Our place, Pinka General Store, is right in the heart of the village under Tehsil-Amb. We are located quite near the Coco Cola Agency, so that makes us easy to find if you're driving through. It's mostly a local crowd that stops by. We stock the basics like flour, oil, and whatever else people in the village might run out of. The shop is a bit of a meeting point for some of the older men who like to stand outside and talk about the weather or the crops. We don't have fancy lights or big displays. It’s just wooden counters and old shelves that have been here for years. Sometimes the delivery trucks take a while to get to us because we're out in the village area, but we manage somehow. My hands are usually busy weighing out lentils or bagging up sugar for someone's tea. It’s a lot of work, especially when the harvest season is on and everyone is busy in the fields. We keep the store open late sometimes if we know someone is coming back from work and needs supplies. It’s a quiet life but we like being part of Bhanjal. It’s not just about selling things, it’s about knowing everyone and helping out when we can. Just a plain general store for plain people in a small village.
