You’ll find us up in Loharli, which is a small village in the Amb area of Una district. It’s quite a beautiful part of Himachal Pradesh, though it can be a bit of a challenge to get to if you aren't used to the local roads. We are based out of the area near Capt. K.K. Verma’s place. The air is definitely fresher up here than in the big cities, and it stays quite a bit cooler for most of the year. During the winter, we have to bundle up quite a bit just to keep working comfortably. The office is a modest space where we keep all our records and plan out our days. It’s quiet, which helps us focus on what we need to do without too many distractions. There aren't many shops right next door, so we usually have to bring everything we need for the day with us. We have a small routine going where we check the weather first thing, as that dictates a lot of what we can actually get done in the village. It’s not a fast-paced life here, but we keep busy enough. People in Loharli are friendly, and we’ve become a small part of the local scenery over time. We just go about our business, dealing with the ups and downs of life in the hills. It’s a very straightforward way of working without any of that corporate drama you find in the plains.
