You can find us at 247/2 Gidc Chark in Umbergaon. It’s an industrial zone, so there are factories and warehouses everywhere you look. Microfilt India Pvt Ltd is located right in the middle of it. We work on filters and industrial separation stuff. It is technical work, but we try to keep the atmosphere here pretty relaxed. The floor is usually busy with people checking specs and running tests. It isn't the quietest place to work, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been in Umbergaon for a long time. The commute for some of us is a bit of a trek, but the work is steady. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. Most of us wear work clothes and get our hands dirty when needed. It’s about getting the filters right so they do what they are supposed to. We have stacks of materials and finished parts all over. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but we make it work. Customers come by now and then to discuss their requirements. We just sit down with a cup of tea and go over the details. No big presentations, just honest talk about what can be done. It's a solid operation and we take it day by day. There's always a lot of cleaning up to do at the end of the shift to keep things tidy for tomorrow.
