Omfurn

Omfurn is located in Kandivali East, right near the Acar Cablewala shop. We have been in this neighborhood for quite a long time. Our space isn't much to look at from the outside, but it’s where all our work happens. We have a lot of materials and tools scattered around because we are always in the middle of a project. It’s a bit dusty, to be honest, but that’s just part of the job. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of the time, we are just busy cutting things or putting them together. We have a small area near the front where we talk to people and take notes on what they need. The sound of the street is always there, but we don't really notice it anymore. We are a small team and we’ve all known each other for years. We don't go in for big advertisements or slick sales pitches. If you come by, you’ll probably find us with our sleeves rolled up working on something. We just take things one day at a time and try to do a decent job with what we have. It’s a basic setup but it has everything we need to stay busy. We like being in Kandivali East because it’s a place where people actually work for a living. That fits us just fine. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute while we are on our break. It’s a friendly enough place.
