Sarkar Trading Co.

Sarkar Trading Co. is located in the DNK Market in Umarkot. We are very close to the Jai Maa Kali Mandir, which is a big landmark in this part of Nabarangapur. You can hear the temple songs while we work. Our business is mostly about trading local goods that come from the surrounding farms and villages in the Tehsil. It’s a very practical kind of business. We spend our time checking the quality of items and making sure they are stored properly. The market itself is always full of life, especially on the days when people from the nearby villages come to town. Our shop is simple, with concrete floors and high ceilings to keep it cool in the summer. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign. Most people just know to look for us near the temple. We have a few workers who help with the loading and unloading. It’s a lot of hard work, especially when the weather is hot and humid. We don't use any big corporate words to describe what we do. We just buy things and sell them, trying to make a small profit and keep the business going for another year. It’s the same thing my father did, and it’s what we know best. We like being part of the Umarkot community.
