Simplex Engg.

Simplex Engg. is located out here in Amlai. It is a quiet enough part of Madhya Pradesh, though we stay busy with the engineering work. There isn't much to say about the building itself, it is just a functional space where we keep our tools and materials. Most of us living nearby just walk or bike into work. We have been doing this for a while now, mostly fixing things or making parts for local needs. The workshop can get a bit cluttered when we have a few big projects going on at once. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, people find us by asking around the neighborhood. It gets very hot in the summer months, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before noon. After that, it is mostly about staying in the shade and finishing up the smaller tasks. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit around, just a place where the work gets done properly. Amlai is a small place and everyone pretty much knows what everyone else is doing. We like it that way. If someone needs something welded or turned on the lathe, they come to see us. We have a few old benches and a lot of scrap metal piled in the corner. Sometimes the wind kicks up the red dust from the road and it gets everywhere. You just wipe it off and keep going. That is just life around here.
