Paramount Academy Eng. Med. Higher Secondary School

Paramount Academy is located in Ward No. 10 of Jaithari, over in the Anuppur district. We’ve got a higher secondary school setup here, so we see kids all the way from the younger grades up to the ones getting ready to finish their schooling. The school is right in the middle of the community. You can hear the sounds of the town and the traffic from the classrooms. It’s a simple building, nothing too modern or high-tech, but it does the job. We have enough rooms for all the different subjects we have to cover during the day. The teachers here are just normal people who live in the area. They walk or bike to work most days just like the students do. We don’t have a lot of extra money for fancy things, so we make do with what’s available. Sometimes the desks get a bit wobbly, or we run out of chalk for the boards, but we manage to keep things moving. The students are generally a good group, though they can be quite noisy when the bell rings for the end of the day. We spend our days following the curriculum and making sure everyone is where they should be in their lessons. There isn't any big philosophy behind what we do. We just think it’s important for the kids in Jaithari to have a place to go to school and learn their subjects properly. It’s a lot of routine.
