Nav Shakti Provision

We spend most of our time here at Nav Shakti Provision, right in Ward Number 3 of Kotma. It is pretty easy to find us since we are situated at Gandhi Chowk. If you know where the old S.B.I. Bank used to be, we are just right there. The shop stays quite busy because of the location. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and cleaning the floor. We arrange the items on the shelves, trying to keep things where people can see them. It gets a bit dusty outside sometimes with all the traffic passing through the chowk. We have been here for a while now. The building is older but it serves the purpose. Most days are just about managing the stock and talking to the people from the neighborhood who stop by for their daily things. It's a small place, nothing fancy, just stacks of goods and a counter where we sit. Sometimes the electricity goes off in the afternoons, so it gets a bit warm inside. We just open the doors wider then. Kotma is a quiet enough place except for the main market area where we are. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. We try to keep things organized but sometimes when a big delivery comes, there are boxes everywhere for a few hours. That is just how it goes here. We have everything from basic cooking supplies to little snacks for the kids who walk home.
