Amrut Industries

Amrut Industries operates out of a C-1 B Shed, numbered 119/9, in Umbergaon. It’s a coastal town, so the air is always a bit salty and damp, which affects how we maintain our equipment. The shed isn't very large, but we have squeezed in everything we need to keep the production going. We mostly handle small-scale industrial tasks. You can usually find a couple of us tinkering with a machine or sorting through raw materials near the entrance. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the roads, but it’s a quiet enough spot to focus on work. We have been in this shed for a long time now. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just move the stuff out of the way and keep going. We don't have any formal uniforms or corporate rules, just a few basic safety things we follow. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are filled and the machines don't overheat. We take our breaks outside when the weather is nice. It’s a very straightforward way of running a business. We don't talk much about goals or plans, we just look at what needs to be done today and we try to finish it before the sun goes down.
