Akshata Engineering Works

You can find Akshata Engineering Works over at H-17 in the Udyog Vihar Industrial Estate. We are on the West side of Ulhas Nagar, not too far from the Vithalwadi area. This industrial estate has been here forever, and you can tell by the state of the roads and the old buildings. Our workshop is full of heavy machinery like lathes and drills. It’s always loud in here, with the sound of metal being cut or ground down. We have sparks flying in the corners and the smell of hot steel everywhere. Most of us have been doing this kind of work for years, so we don't mind the noise or the grime. We take on all kinds of jobs, from fixing small parts to making larger components for other factories. The office is just a tiny corner with a desk that’s covered in grease and old receipts. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures. People usually just find us by walking through the estate or by talking to other shop owners in Ulhas Nagar. It’s a tough way to make a living, especially when the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves before we can get back to the customer’s work. But we like being part of the industrial community here. We just show up, do the machining, and make sure the parts are done right.
