Shree Balaji Tours And Travels is based in Haridwar Apartment. We have Shop No. 2, which is right opposite Moscow Boutique. This part of Link Road is always buzzing because of the Furniture Bazaar. You can hear the sound of wood being cut or furniture being loaded into trucks almost all day. It makes for a very active environment. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves. The shop is small but it has enough room for a couple of chairs and a computer. People drop by to ask about bus timings or train tickets while they are out shopping for a new sofa. It is a convenient spot for the locals. Sometimes the traffic on Link Road gets so backed up that people just park and walk into our shop to wait it out. We have a lot of maps and old brochures lying around. It is not the most modern office you will see, but it is comfortable. We know most of the other shop owners around here. The tea stall guy comes by twice a day. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to sort out routes and bookings for whoever walks through the door. It is a simple life. We like being near the bazaar because there is always something to see. It feels like the center of things.
