Vijay Hosiery Works

Vijay Hosiery Works is our small business located at No. 1823/6 in Sector 38. We have been working with textiles for a long time. Our space is filled with knitting machines and rolls of yarn. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the boxes of finished socks and undergarments waiting to be sent out. We aren't a high-end fashion brand. We just make basic hosiery items that people need for their everyday lives. Most of our staff live nearby in Sector 38, so we all know each other pretty well. The machines make a steady humming noise all day, which actually becomes quite soothing after a while. We spend a lot of time checking the stitches and making sure the sizes are consistent. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit before we can get started again, but we make do. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big marketing budget. We just sell what we make to local distributors and shops. It’s a family-run kind of place where everyone pitches in with whatever needs doing, whether that’s packing boxes or sweeping the floor. We like the neighborhood here; it’s quiet enough and we have everything we need close by. We just keep our machines running and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s simple, steady work that keeps us busy from morning until night without any fuss.
