Thakur Wax Industries

We are located at C-1/12 in the Ram Girdhar Industrial Estate, right on Vithalwadi Station Road. As you can probably guess from the name, we work with wax. The industrial estate is a busy place, and our unit is usually humming with the sounds of production. It can get quite warm in here because of the processes we use, so we always have the fans going. The air usually has that specific smell of melting wax, which you get used to after about five minutes of being inside. We make various wax products and it involves a lot of manual work. It isn’t a clean, white-collar office environment. We’ve got drums, molds, and packing materials spread out all over the floor. Most of us here wear old clothes because you’re bound to get a bit of wax on you at some point during the shift. It’s a practical, hands-on kind of place. We don't spend much time on fancy marketing; we just focus on making the product right and getting it out the door. Being near Vithalwadi Station is handy for the workers getting here, though the road can be a bit of a mess when it rains and the potholes start to show up. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a small, honest operation and we’ve been doing this for a long time now. We aren't doing anything fancy, just making sure the quality is consistent for our customers.
