Shop number 328 right on the Main Road is where you will find me most days of the week. I have been running this travel business for quite a while now. It is a small shop, just enough room for a couple of chairs for customers and a desk with my computer and printer. Being right on the main road means there is always a lot of noise from the cars and buses passing by, but it also means people can spot the sign easily. I handle all kinds of bookings for trips, whether it is a quick hop to the next city or a longer family vacation for the summer. I usually have a big map pinned to the wall that is starting to get a bit faded from the afternoon sun. People come in with all sorts of questions about train tickets and bus timings. I try to be as helpful as I can without making the whole process sound more complicated than it really is. Sometimes I am out of the office helping one of the drivers with a specific route, so the "closed" sign might be up for an hour or so. It is mostly a one-man show, so I do the cleaning, the bookings, and all the phone calls myself. I don't have a fancy website with a lot of bells and whistles. Most of my customers are just locals who walk by and decide they finally need a break. We just talk and get it sorted.
