If you head over to Gol Maidan, you will see Chand Appartment, and that’s where Shop No. 1 is. That is us, Kk Enterprises. It is a small shop, and we have stuff packed in from the floor to the ceiling. It’s a bit tight when we get more than two people inside at once, but we make it work. Gol Maidan is a central spot, so there are always people walking by or kids playing nearby. We spend a lot of time standing behind the counter, talking to whoever walks in. The walls are painted a pale color that has faded over time, and we have a lot of shelves that we built ourselves. We don't have a computer system or anything fancy; we just use a notebook to keep track of things. It’s a very simple way of doing business. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the wind coming across the Maidan, so we are always wiping down the front window. We know most of the people who live in Chand Appartment by their first names. It’s the kind of place where you can just stop by for a chat while you are out running errands. We don't have any big goals other than keeping the shop open and serving the folks who live around here. It’s just a small enterprise in a busy part of the neighborhood, and that is enough for us to keep going every day of the year without any complaints.
