Digitech Instruments

You can find us at J-219/220 in the Udyog Vihar area, which is really close to the Vithalwadi Railway Station. Being near the station makes it easy for some of us to get to work, though the walk from the tracks can be a bit dusty depending on the weather. Digitech Instruments is basically a couple of units knocked together to give us enough room for our testing gear and benches. The walls are lined with shelves that hold various meters and tools we use daily. It is an industrial estate, so there is a lot of activity around us with trucks unloading, people shouting across the way, and the constant hum of the city. We start the day early, usually around the time the first heavy trains start passing by. Inside, it is all about precision. We spend hours looking at small displays and adjusting dials. It is not glamorous work, and the lighting in the back of the unit could probably be better, but we get the job done. We have a small table in the corner where we sit for tea breaks and talk about things other than work for a few minutes. Most of our clients have been coming to us for years because they know where we are and that we don't move things around much. The space is crowded with equipment, but we know where every single screw and cable is kept. It is our own little corner.
