New Era Industries

New Era Industries is tucked away in Krishna House over in Azad Nagar. It's a bit of a trek to get into the Khemani area some afternoons, but we've been set up here for quite some time now. The building is older, but it serves us well enough for what we need to get done. Inside, it’s mostly just the sounds of the machines and people trying to hear each other over the constant hum. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of employees. It's more of a tight-knit group where everyone knows their job and just gets on with it. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we still show up and get to work. I usually have my tea around four while checking the latest batch of items. There’s no big corporate manual here. We just learned things as we went along. If something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. The neighborhood is mostly other small businesses like ours, so we all kind of look out for each other. It’s honest work. We don’t really spend money on fancy signs or advertising because people around here already know where we are. Krishna House has been our home for a while, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a decent job every day and then heading home.
