You’ll find us at Plot No. 4 in the Anil Complex, which is on the New Link Road. We’re right near the Maya Hotel in the furniture bazar area, so it’s always hectic around here. There’s a constant smell of fresh wood and sawdust in the air because of all the plywood we move. The shop is basically just stacks of sheets piled high, reaching almost to the ceiling. We spend a lot of time helping people sort through the different grades to find what they need for their home projects. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, our clothes are usually covered in it. We have a couple of guys who help with the heavy lifting because those sheets aren't light. Sometimes the traffic on the New Link Road makes it hard for the delivery trucks to back in, and we end up directing traffic ourselves. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a working warehouse where people come to get stuff done. We’ve got an old desk where we write out the bills by hand, and a fan that barely moves the air. The furniture bazar is a competitive place, but we just stick to our corner and keep the stock moving. Most of our regulars are local carpenters who know exactly where everything is kept. It’s a simple business, just wood and a bit of hard work every single day.
