Amit Radium

Amit Radium is a small shop located on Hira Ghat Road. We are right below the Varsha Bar Building, which is the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone who asks for directions. It is a pretty busy street with a lot of people passing by all day. We do radium work, which mostly means cutting out letters and shapes for vehicles or signs. The shop is not very big, so we often do some of our work right out on the pavement if the weather is okay. It is a very hands-on job. We spend a lot of time bent over a table with a cutter. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the material. The building we are in is older, and it has a bit of character to it. We do not bother with fancy displays or anything like that. People see our work on the street and that is how they find us. Hira Ghat Road can get pretty noisy with all the horns and people talking, but we just put our heads down and get the job done. We like the location because everyone knows the Varsha Bar Building. We have been here for years, and we have seen shops come and go, but we just keep doing our radium work. It is a simple business without any frills. We just open up and work.
