Garg Traders

If you ever come down to the New Grain Mandi in Budha Khera, you will find Garg Traders. We are located right near the bus stand in the Hisar district. It is a very dusty place, especially when the harvest season is on and the trucks are rolling in. We spend our days dealing with grains and talking to farmers who come in from all over. The noise from the bus stand is something we have just learned to live with over time. It is a simple life, mostly spent weighing bags and checking quality. We don't have a fancy office, just a small room with a desk and some chairs where we sit and talk business. Sometimes the market is slow and we just sit and drink tea, and other times it is so busy we don't even have time to eat. That is just how the grain trade goes. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes your back hurts at the end of the day from moving around. We are just local people working in the mandi like everyone else here. There are no corporate rules, just the way things have always been done. We know most of the people who come here by their first names. It is just us doing our job. We try to keep things honest and straightforward because that is what works well in a place like this. You meet a lot of people.
