Rinrumlan Producer Company Limited

Up here in Ukhrul, in the Hamleikhong Hundungpung area, we run Rinrumlan Producer Company Limited. It is based at the place of Vashum Tuime Lolly. If you know Ukhrul, you know the hills make everything a bit more complicated but also more beautiful. We are a producer company, so we are all about the local farmers around this district. Most of our days are spent dealing with the logistics of moving goods through the hills. The roads can be tough, especially during the rainy season when everything turns to mud and things slow down. We do not have a big corporate office; it is more of a community hub where people come to talk about their crops and the prices they are getting. There is usually a pot of tea going and a lot of conversation in the local dialect. We are just trying to make sure the people who work the land here get a fair deal. It is not about being the biggest company, just about being useful to our neighbors. Sometimes we get behind on our paperwork because we are too busy out in the storage area or visiting a farm to see how the harvest is going. We are real people with calloused hands, not office workers in suits. It is a slow process building something like this in the hills, but we are patient. We just take it day by day, season by season, and keep the work moving along as best as we can.
