Vipin Spices

We've been here in Indira Nagar for a while now, right near the Shiv Mandir on Agar Road. It’s a busy spot, and you can usually smell the chilies and turmeric from a few doors down before you even see our sign. My family started Vipin Spices because we noticed people were tired of those packets from the big stores that sit on shelves forever. Here at No.210, we keep things pretty basic. We get the whole spices, clean them out by hand, and grind them up ourselves. It’s loud in the back when the machines are running, but that's just part of the daily routine. Some mornings are slower than others, especially when the weather gets humid, but we stay on top of the work. People stop by after visiting the temple or just on their way home to grab what they need for dinner. We don't have a fancy office or any corporate polish here. It's just a couple of us making sure the jars are full and the floors stay relatively clean despite all the dust. Sometimes we run out of certain things if the harvest wasn't great that year, but we just tell folks to come back next Tuesday. It's not a big operation, just a local place where we know most of the faces that walk through the door. We spend a lot of time sorting through seeds and roots before they go into the grinder. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually smell like cumin by the time we head home. We just try to provide what's needed for a good meal without overcomplicating things.
