You can find Shiva Arts & Advertising at Plot No. 17 in the Baghpura area. We are located right near the Hanuman Temple on Saver Road, which is a busy and lively part of town. The sound of bells and people passing by is constant, especially during the festivals. Our shop is a bit of an older space, filled with all the supplies we’ve gathered over the years like paints, brushes, and different kinds of boards. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of all the dust that blows in from Saver Road, but it’s where we do our best work. We handle a mix of traditional art and more modern advertising tasks. A lot of our day is spent sketching out designs or mixing colors to get them just right. We don’t have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a local shop where we work with our hands and try to make things that look decent. Sometimes we have to work around the weather, as the humidity can really mess with how the paint dries. We’ve been a part of the Baghpura community for quite a while now, and we like being near the temple. It’s a straightforward life and we don't try to pretend to be anything we aren't. We just open up in the morning, see what needs to be done, and stay until the work is finished for the day. It’s a practical way of running things.
