Our place is at Plot No.25 on Cc Road. If you know where Ghanta Ghar is in Freeganj, you're pretty close to us. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time now. It’s a trading business, so there is always a lot of movement. Trucks come in and out, and we spend a lot of time loading and unloading stuff. The building is older, but it serves us well for what we do. Inside, it’s mostly warehouse space with a small corner for the desk and the old ledger books. We don't really have a waiting room or anything like that. People just walk in and ask for what they need and we find it for them. It gets pretty loud on Cc Road during the day with all the vehicles and the shouting. We keep a close eye on the stock we have. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big shipment arrives unexpectedly, but we sort it out eventually. There’s usually dust on the floors no matter how much we sweep it up. It’s just the nature of the work here. We know most of the other traders around here too, so we talk a bit. It’s a busy life, and we don’t have much time for sitting around doing nothing. We start very early in the morning before the sun gets too hot for heavy work and we finish when the job is done.
