Our travel agency is located right at the Dewas Gate bus stand in Ujjain, which is probably the busiest part of the city for anyone trying to go somewhere. Maa Vindyvasni Tour & Travels has been working out of this spot for a while now, and we see all kinds of people coming through. Some are pilgrims going to the temples, and others are just locals heading to work in other towns. We handle a mix of things, like booking cars for local tours or helping people find a ride for a longer trip. The office is pretty basic, just a place for us to sit and answer the phone. It gets very loud with all the buses honking outside, but we are so used to it that we barely notice anymore. We spend a lot of time checking the vehicles and talking to our drivers to make sure they know the latest road conditions. Ujjain can be a tricky place to drive in during the festival seasons because so many roads get blocked off. We just try to plan around it and keep things moving. It isn't a fancy business, just a small operation run by local people who know the area. We don't have any big slogans or anything; we just show up every morning and help whoever walks through the door looking for a ride. Most of our work comes from people who have used us before and know where to find us.
