Lakshaya Tour & Travels

Our place is located on Mahakal Marg, specifically in Street Number 7. We are at house number 90. Being so close to the Mahakal Mandir is a big part of our daily life here. You can hear the sounds of the temple rituals from the street, and there are always crowds of people walking by on their way to pray. Lakshaya Tour & Travels is just a small office tucked into the middle of all that activity. We focus on getting people where they need to go, especially since many visitors to Ujjain don’t know the roads very well. The street can get extremely crowded, especially during the big festivals, so things often get a bit hectic for us. We have got a couple of desks and some old maps hanging on the wall. It isn't a fancy place by any means, just somewhere for people to sit down and talk about their travel plans for the day. I have lived in this particular area my whole life, so the temple feels like a neighbor to me. We try to be as helpful as possible when people come in looking confused. Most of our work is local, but we do send cars out to other cities too. We don't have a big marketing budget or some social media team. It is just us and the cars. We make sure they are running okay and that the drivers are ready to go. It is honest work.
