Krishna Prints & Craft

Our shop, Krishna Prints & Craft, is located at 34/36 Jhalani Niwas on Dewas Road, right by Teen Batti Square. If you know the square, you know it’s one of the busiest spots around with people coming from all directions. We operate out of a space that is often filled with the smell of paper and various materials we use for our crafts. It’s a bit of a workshop feel rather than a polished retail store. There are usually scraps of things on the floor and half-finished projects sitting on the counters. We spend a lot of time working with our hands and making sure the prints come out looking the way they should. It isn't always perfect, and sometimes we have to redo things, but we take pride in the actual process of making stuff. The traffic outside at Teen Batti Square can get quite loud, especially in the evenings, but we just turn up the radio and keep working. Jhalani Niwas is an old building and it has its quirks, like the narrow stairs and the doors that sometimes stick in the humidity. We don't mind though, as it has been our home for a long time. People drop in for all sorts of small jobs or to see what new crafts we have been putting together. We just keep doing what we do, one day at a time, and try to make something nice.
